River Ridge at Kanawha Falls Grand Opening

Here at River Ridge at Kanawha Falls, we were all excited to get to meet many of you for our Grand Opening Event.  The event was a big success, as we all enjoyed a great time in Wild and Wonderful West Virginia.  For those of you who couldn’t join us, we’re sorry you couldn’t make it, and we look forward to perhaps seeing you at a later event!

The weekend was full of entertainment.  We hope everyone had the opportunity to venture off for some horseback riding through the beautiful Kanawha Falls area, join one of the whitewater rafting groups, or taking a ride on the Jet Boat.

After spending Friday exploring River Ridge, we skipped off to Charleston for a great dinner.  Saturday brought with it warm and pleasant weather, which allowed for more outdoor exploration, visiting rock formations and enjoying all the beauty that River Ridge has to offer.  After a great lunch on the deck of the Glenn Ferris Inn, overlooking beautiful Kanawha Falls, many of us took off for a scenic helicopter tour.  Let me tell you, the views on the helicopter ride were absolutely breathtaking, getting to see the mountains in their beautiful summer green, and being able to look down at the calm water leading up and over Kanawha Falls.

Dinner Saturday night, again in Charleston, was delicious.  Hopefully you all had the opportunity to meet everyone, not only from River Ridge at Kanawha Falls, but also your future neighbors!  We here at River Ridge at Kanawha Falls are working on a lot of new features for the River Ridge website, so you can hopefully keep in touch with other Founders Club members.
